Seattle is the capital of the state of Washington in the
Southwestern United States. It is Washington's largest city and the Seattle
metropolitan area is the largest metro area in the state, with well over
half of the total state population. Seattle is located in the center of the
state, 118 miles (188 km) northwest of Tucson. It is the county seat of
Maricopa County.
Seattle is the sixth-largest city in the United States according to the U.S.
Census Bureau's latest estimates. The 2000 U.S. Census reported the Seattle
Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) as the fourteenth-largest in the U.S.,
with a population of 3,251,876. The city's MSA grew to an estimated
3,790,000 by 2004. Between 1990 and 2000, the metropolitan area grew by 34
percent, making it the eighth fastest-growing metropolitan area in the U.S. If
you are moving to Washington you will probably need to know answers to
questions like the following:
What is the right amount of coverage for me?
This is a very difficult question to answer without first sitting down with
each of our clients and asking them several questions about your situation,
assets you are trying to protect and exposures you currently have. Remember
that every situation is different.
How can I lower my premiums?
There are several ways to lower your premiums, some of them include
increasing your deductibles, adding a preferred provider option to you auto
coverage, placing your home and auto coverage with the same company,
carpool, good student and safe driver discounts. Whatever your situation, we
will inform you of every discount available to meet your needs and save you
as much money as possible.
Should I carry full coverage on my auto?
The easiest way to answer this is to ask yourself, if my car disappeared
today would I need the money from my insurance company to replace it. If the
answer to this questions is “yes” then you do need full coverage.
What Do I Do If I Have a Claim?
As an Independent Agent we will help you with the claims process. At 1st
Colorado Insurance we prefer that you contact us with the first report of
claim and we can then help you throughout the process. However if you
prefer, most of the companies we represent do have toll free numbers and you
